I would love to see this in action, too bad I don’t have a mac

Yeah sorry about that but I can only export Mac apps from Max/Jitter. I’ll try and export some footage out so you can see it working.

    Hi Bren,

It would be great to see this in action, but no Mac. So I would definatly be keen on seeing some exported footage of this.

Also what technology is this written in?, and whats Max/Jitter

    Thanks

I’ll try and post something today.

Max/Jitter is an audio visual programming application that is just awesome - for both Mac and PC. more details at http://www.cycling74.com/

Works great! Is it possible to export a video of the it?

Yeah - but it doesn’t export the sound - I’m working on that. Just click the litte checkbox on the left above the “p record” box and then just click stop when you’re done.

Little update as regards sound: I’ve now managed to record the sound output as a seperate file (which is how you have to do it in Max) now it’s just a case of fusing that with the QuickTime video file to make one movie. Just gimme another day.

Oh, Snap!! This is killer - I’m gonna use this for an up coming party this weekend. I’ll put sound on top of it from iTunes and have some random video footage. As usual, Bren, it’s killer. Thanks.

A sort of instant video projection toy, this is a little thing I made that takes a folder of QuickTime movies and then randomly cuts them up, randomly choosing loop points to mash the video up so to speak. Download the app (Mac OSX only - sorry), hook up a projector and you have an instant crazy video looping machine. Enjoy.
