So right now I’m in New York getting ready for the upcoming Flashforward. Last night it was the 4th July, the first time I’ve been in the states for Independence Day. Looking round for something to do I found Rooftop Films. I’d seen this site before and thought it was a very cool idea, showing short films on a rooftop in Brooklyn. Last night they had a special show, this time at Pier 26, The River Project on the waterfront looking out over the Hudson to Brooklyn Heights. The theme for the night was “un-American films”, looking at what it means to be patriotic and how America effects lives outside of the USA. Couple that with the fireworks on the Hudson it was a really memorable night. Highly recommended that you check out Rooftop Films whenever you can.
