Ive just watched two of the videos.. nice one,

If you dont mind me saying, youve set off a really insightful project Brendan. Its really nice to see/hear the self directed videos by the very people profiled- Im sure many other lifelong students of design will appreciate it too.

It’s been almost a month since my last post mainly because things are just mad crazy busy at mN - but then that’s a really good thing.

One of the things we’ve been working on is a small pet project that we’ve had on the back burner since the end of last year. Well we finally grabbed some time to actually get the project, InspireMe.tv live.

The concept is a real simple one. Artists, designers et al make personal video insights into what inspires them. Maybe they show the environment they work in. Maybe they talk about some books they love. There is no script. Just an open brief to share something. It’s not about super slick motion graphic pieces. This is about the other side of their work - the things that surround them, be that mental or physical.

We also wanted to make this a 2 way process. So each video has a message forum attached for you to talk about what you’ve seen and open up debate.

We’re busy working on the next edition so visit the site and feel free to suggest future artists to feature.
