I was one of the fortunate few that walked away with a print AND a real-time, hand-made PDF of my name with an app that Brendan had just written the night before at FlashForward Austin. I must say, Brendan’s work (coding + book + art)is some of the most exciting I have seen in a long time. I am also making my way through my very own autographed copy of Analog In, Digital Out. Fantastic. Thanks for your patience and generosity.

    You’re too kind!

Oh - and those handmade PDF’s will land in the respective peoples inboxes very soon - sorry for the delay.

After getting back from Austin and being in the UK for 24 hours I then went to the South of France for a 2 week holiday - a kind of technology detox, where laptop, internet and TV were replaced by amazing food, uninterrupted time with my wife and an agenda of doing sod all for 14 days. So if you’ve been emailing me over the last 2 weeks and not getting a response then that’s why I’ve been a bit quiet!

On getting back I’d found that mN has been nominated twice for the upcoming Roses design awards in Manchester later this month, something we’ve won the last 2 years on a row - hopefully we’ll make it three this year. Right now at magneticNorth we’ve got some really exciting stuff we’re working on, not least of which is a brand new mN site that’s been on and off development for the last few months. We think you’re going to like it. Oh - and watch for our first project for Diesel - it’s pretty special.

As for other stuff that’s currently on the horizon, expect a new update to my little Flickr viewing app, Scattr, plus after the reaction to the prints I gave away in Austin, look out for a new online store where you’ll be able to buy high quality prints in a variety of formats.
