Apologies for not posting for an age but things have been a tad busy of late. So in an effort to fill the void I thought I’d post a few things that have caught my eye recently.

Theiry Loa, one of my fave interactive designers has posted some new work. I just love the feel that he gives his stuff - this is a guy that likes to break the rules and explore what’s possible. We need more of that.

Talking of a guy who breaks the rules, Jake Smith emailed me about Jeff Minters latest game GridRunner++. It’s full of crazy, bonkers, Llama themed action, chock full of invention and creativity. Why can’t all video games be this good? Instead we get the same old stuff again and again. Safe = crap.

My good friend Carla Diana has recently started to take her Repercussion project on the road as it were and you can see the first of these events here.

Thoughtful Interaction Design is a brand new book from MIT press that I’m currently reading and is bloody awesome. Really intelligent book about the whole process of interactive design and what it means to be an interactive designer.
