This is pretty damn geeky but I’ve just installed Linux on my iPod! Why? Well like the creator of the Linux on iPod project says “because you can”. But the thing is this opens up the possibility of programs being written for the iPod, like a Flash card reader so you can simply plug in your Firewire reader straight into your iPod and transfer a load of pics from your digital camera.
