That was the week that was

The last week or so has been insane - but in a good way.

I was in Vienna last week for the brilliant Europrix Top Talent Festival, delivering the keynote based mostly on content from the upcoming book. It all ended in a snazzy gala awards night showcasing truly incredible interactive work from all over Europe. Met some great people from all over the place - Finland, Estonia, Slovenia, Israel, including the taxi driver who was a nuclear physicist by day and the guy who played keyboards for Falco (Rock me Amedeus) back in the eighties! Finally ending up in a club called Flex playing hardcore techno till the early hours in some converted subway. But this is what it’s all about - experiencing different environments and meeting new people.

Then after a day at home it was off to Italy with other members of the mN team for a pitch to a dream client. Stayed in a beautiful little town with ice cream to die for. The only bummer was I was away for my wife’s birthday - but Lisa is so ace she knew we could celebrate when I got back.

Friday was then the big move - mN have a new home in a stunning new 5th floor studio space. It’s everything we’ve ever wanted in a creative environment and is the perfect HQ for the next chapter in the mN story.

So as weeks go it’s been hectic but I wouldn’t have it any other way - like I always say it’s not as if I’m working down a mine. Bring it!
