Looks pretty cool. Have to try this with video and audio :p.

I tried it with sound and video. Sound seems to work:

I couldn’t get video to be “correctly corrupted” :p. Didn’t try much video-formats though..

Love it! I too tried it with video (avi) and got no joy - just a blank screen. Might be to do with the codec though.

what ftp program and server as you using as this doesn’t work for me.

    Chris /

Bren, what FTP program are you using to get this effect. This is interesting…

    Jolo /

OK, fair enough it seems like some ftp software doesn’t allow this to happen. I use rbrowser lite. It’s a free one.

    Thanks….!

    here’s my attempt.

    Dear Sir,
Can you confirm that your future literary efforts will not simply be your old content re-hashed by simply replacing the word “Macromedia” with “Adobe”? If this is your intention to extract even more money out of me at the book shop, I would like to know in advance so that I can skip the computing section and head straight for the section on trains.

    Thank you.

Following on from my post about good mistakes, the other day I was uploading some new images to my server, when I mistakenly had the transfer type setting in my FTP software set to TEXT. It should be set to BINARY or AUTO when uploading images. When I went to view the images I found that this simple error had created new imagery, distorted and twisted by the act of file transfer. The actual FTP software had now become part of the creative process rather than just being a bystander.

A technology that had never been meant for image CREATION was now doing just that. View the project.
