Scattr, my simple Flickr viewing gadget, inspired by the original photo thing on my homepage, is now out of beta, with some cool new features for the bargain price of $9.99. One of the great new additions is an auto slideshow mode so you can have Scattr play through your images when it first loads in. There’s also a choice of two frames - now you can have a black one as well as the standard white. ScattrLite is a free version that allows you to show just 10 photos from your Flickr photostream.
Check out the official Scattr page for more details.
Update: The lastest version of Scattr has some cool new features including the ability to specify how big you want the large zoomed in image to be together with a great depth of field effect.

Brendan, I have been tempted by this juicy little gadget you have built several times and might just have to take the leap one of these days. I noticed that the lite version has a “No Derivative Work” cc license. Does the full version have this as well? No offense, but I would only be interested if I can hack the crap out of it. What are your thoughts on people using Scattr that way? Do you get an .fla file with the full version?
